Current use of wood (trees) for cooking is unsustainable. Over the years, villagers have had to travel further and further away from their homes in search of firewood. We need solutions.
Potential solution: Biogas
What do we do when the cattle kraal gets filled up with cow dung? We build a new kraal and move the animals on. The old one provides some manure, but is mostly left there and gets overgrown.
What if you could use the cow dung to create “natural gas” for your heating, cooking, and lighting?
