Save money
Save money (where ever you are)
Someone somewhere unknowingly pays too much for goods and services: if only they knew. All the time, a fellow Zimbabwean knew but didn’t think to tell them. Yes, we work so hard, and lose so much. If only we knew.
Team Zimbabwe will share some tips that will save you money. You can access and read these freely on condition that;
- You agree to channel the savings that result in the manner we recommend!
- You too will share some tips anytime in the future
A lot of these tips were provided by a UK based writer, but many will apply elsewhere.
- Avoid online rip off shops: Yes, they can charge 300% more than the supermarkets in Zimbabwe for the same goods! We have done regular price checks since early 2009! (latest 03/02/10).
- Avoid online rip off money transfers: Really atrocious exchange rates! Use the currency converter above.
- Switch and Save: Customer loyalty doesn’t always get rewarded by service providers! This is a must and can save you 100s or 1000s of £/$. You just have to do it – or you will lose.
- Save on travel
- Cut the cost of sending money home.
- Cheap international calls: including phone cards and Skype
Also, please share your knowledge and wisdom.
